From May 19–21, our GOES project partners gathered in Copenhagen for the 5th consortium meeting. It was an energizing three-day event packed with insightful discussions 💡, breakout sessions 🧩, and meaningful networking 🌍, strengthening our collaboration and shared vision.
After enjoying some delicious smørrebrød 🥪, the workshop officially kicked off on Monday afternoon with presentations from WP leaders highlighting recent advancements, followed by insightful guest talks.
The second day featured a site visit to the Aquifer Thermal Energy Storage (ATES) system at Bispebjerg Hospital, expertly organized by our partner Energy Machines.
The final day was dedicated to breakout sessions and forward-looking discussions focused on integrating the project’s different simulation scales 🧠.
🙌 A big thank you to Aalborg University - Dept. of the Built Environment for hosting the meeting and arranging a fantastic series of social events that made our time in Copenhagen even more memorable!
We’re looking forward to the next steps and continued collaboration across the GOES project! 🚀
